Toddler Program

Our toddler program is designed to meet the developmental needs, and support the natural growth of the children and give them the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace. Our hands-on experience and the classroom setup make it easy for them to use and enhance their fine and gross motor skills, as well as their language and cognitive skills.

  • Structured Routine: Toddlers benefit from a predictable routine. Establish a schedule that includes regular times for meals, snacks, naps, play, and other activities. Consistency helps toddlers feel secure and understand expectations.

  • Age-Appropriate Activities: Plan activities that are developmentally appropriate for toddlers. These may include sensory play, art activities, music and movement, storytime, and simple puzzles. Activities should encourage fine and gross motor skill development.

  • Social Interaction: Provide opportunities for toddlers to engage in social interactions with their peers. Group activities, such as circle time or cooperative play, help toddlers develop social skills, sharing, and cooperation.

  • Language Development: Foster language development through storytelling, singing, and conversation. Reading books and engaging in simple conversations with toddlers supports their language acquisition and communication skills.

  • Outdoor Play: Outdoor play is crucial for toddlers’ physical development. Ensure that there is a safe and age-appropriate outdoor play area where toddlers can explore, run, and play with appropriate toys.

  • Potty Training Support: Many toddlers begin the process of potty training during this stage. A toddler program should include support for potty training, with caregivers working closely with parents to maintain consistency between home and childcare settings.

  • Nutrition: Provide nutritious snacks and meals that meet the dietary needs of toddlers. Consider any food allergies or restrictions and work closely with parents to ensure a balanced and healthy diet.

  • Individualized Attention: Acknowledge and respect the individual needs and personalities of each toddler. Some toddlers may require more assistance with certain skills or may have specific interests that can be incorporated into the program.

  • Communication with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents, including daily updates, progress reports, and regular parent-teacher conferences. Collaboration between parents and caregivers is essential for the well-being and development of toddlers.

  • Safety Measures: Implement safety measures to ensure a secure environment. This includes childproofing the facility, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety guidelines for toddler care.
